The newest Mike's Carwash on South Hurstbourne Parkway hosted a Grand Opening Free Ultimate Wash Week resulting in a donation of $7,339 to the Dream Factory of Louisville. The donation will be used to grant dreams to two young boys in the Louisville community.

"A huge thank you to everyone who supported and helped us to celebrate our new location on South Hurstbourne Parkway during our Grand Opening Week," says Mike Dahm, president of Mike's Carwash. "Giving back to the communities we serve is a huge part of what we do at Mike's and we are thrilled to be donating $7,339 to the Dream Factory of Louisville. Thank you to our amazing team members and all the local businesses, radio stations and mascots that contributed to the fun and success of our Free Wash Week."

The Dream Factory is the largest children's wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life threatening illnesses. The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional physical pain. They strive to provide hope and relief from trauma and corresponding strees and depression that both the children and families can endure on a day-to-day basis. Doctors agree that providing a dream can improve the quality of life for these children and extend the life of a critically ill child.
