Mike's Carwash Raises Nearly $10,000 to Wash Away Hunger
DECEMBER 2020 - CINCINNATI, OH
Mike's Carwash conducted its second annual Wash Away Hunger fundraising event, Saturday, December 5th. On that day, Mike's offered its best wash, The Ultimate, for $15. For every Ultimate Wash sold, Mike's donated $1 to food pantries in each of the markets in which it does business.
Over the course of the day, Mike's raised $9,891 to help Wash Away Hunger.
"We know this has been a difficult year for local food pantries," said Mike Dahm, President of Mike's Carwash. "That's why everyone at Mike's is extremely grateful to our loyal customers for coming out to support Wash Away Hunger."

Mike's Carwash Raises Over $14,000 to Support Project Hero
NOVEMBER 2020 - CINCINNATI, OH
To commemorate Veterans Day, November 11, Mike's Carwash held a day-long fundraising event to support Project Hero. Mike's gave a FREE Basic Wash to all veterans and active military personnel, with an option to upgrade to an Ultimate Wash for $5. 100% of the proceeds from the $5 upgrade were donated to Project Hero, which support Veterans and First Responders affected by PTSD, TBI and injury.
In addition, Mike's offered its Ultimate Wash to the general public for $15, with $1 donated to Project Hero for every Ultimate Wash sold.
In all, more than $14,000 was raised during the Veterans Day fundraiser.

Mike's Carwash Raises More Than $117,000 For Big Brothers Sisters

Over a three-day period, October 22-24, Mike's Carwash raised more than $117,000 through its 11th annual "Get a Wash, Give a Future" fundraiser. Normally a one-day event, Mike's decided to extend the promotion to three days because of the threat of poor weather. Throughout the weekend, all 28 Mike's locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky donated half the proceeds from every Ultimate and Works wash sold to youth mentoring programs across several local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
"It's difficult to put into words how grateful we are to our incredible customers for making this the best Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser ever," said Mike Dahm, President of Mike's Carwash. Mike's Carwash, through its BowTie Tuesday and Kids Win Wednesday promotions, raised more than $66,000 for the Reds Community Fund during the COVID-shortened, 2020 season. The 2020 total was a single season, donation record. Since partnering with the Reds in 2015, Mike's Carwash has raised more than $250,000 for the Reds Community Fund through its various promotional programs.

Mike's Carwash held a two-day promotional fundraising event, August 28-29, to support SCAN, Stop Childhood Abuse and Neglect.
Mike's best wash, The Ultimate, was on sale for $15 over the course of the two-day promotion. For every Ultimate Wash sold, Mike's donated $1 to support SCAN, Stop Childhood Abuse and Neglect. Donations during the event totaled more than $4,600.

In return for a FREE Ultimate Carwash, Mike's encouraged customers to donate to Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank. Sweet Cheeks provides free diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers.
Over the course of the three-day promotional event, Mike's was able to raise more than $22,000 for Sweet Cheeks.

Over the course of a weekend-long fundraising event (May 8-10) Mike's Carwash raised more than $12,000 to support regional zoos impacted by the COVID-19 lockdowns.
To drive traffic to its 27 locations, Mike's offered a deep discount on its most popular wash, The Ultimate, then donated a portion of the proceeds to help feed and care-for animals in several zoos across a three-state region. In addition, Mike's customers were able to swipe a credit card to make an additional donation.

"Without patrons because of COVID-19, the zoos are struggling to feed the hundreds of species in their care. We're thrilled that we could offset some of their costs through our fundraising event."

All 26 Mike's Carwash locations teamed up from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15 to support Cincinnati's Finest in raising money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Together, they raised $11,020 for the Foundation through the weekend-long fundraising event. Customers also enjoyed a $15 Ultimate Wash ($20 value) throughout the weekend.
Cincinnati's Finest is a group of the best and brightest young professionals who are donating their time and energy to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis.

Mike's Carwash Reopens Beavercreek Location Leveled by Tornado

Mike's Carwash has officially reopened their location at 2389 N Fairfield Road in Beavercreek just east of I-675. The location was destroyed by the tornado that left a path of destruction across the Beavercreek community in May 2019. The new store is outfitted with the latest carwash technology to ensure the highest quality wash and took 9 months to rebuild.

Mike's Carwash has officially announced the acquisition of the Harrison Avenue location of LA Express Car Wash. The purchase agreement was signed this week and will bring the total number of Mike's Carwash locations in the Greater Cincinnati area to 15 and the overall number to 28.

Mike's Carwash donates $54K to Anthony Muñoz Foundation

Mike's Carwash presented a check for $54,340 to the Anthony Muñoz Foundation after the final Bengals game of the season. The donation was a result of the proceeds from Mike's "2 Sacks You Save" promotion and, this new year, "Who Dey Wednesdays" during the Bengals' 2019 season. Mike's pledged to donate $1 to the Anthony Muñoz Foundation for each Ultimate Wash purchased the day after the Bengals recorded two or more sacks in a game and for each Ultimate Wash purchased on 11 Who Dey Wednesdays. The Bengals recorded 2+ sacks in 8 out of the 16 games played this season.
