Mike's Carwash Raises Over $8,700 for The Barracks Project
DECEMBER 2022 - CINCINNATI, OH
To celebrate the Grand Opening of its new Erlanger location on Dixie Highway, Mike's Carwash gave away FREE Ultimate+Ceramic Washes at that location throughout the weekend of December 2-4.
In return for a FREE Wash, Mike's encouraged customers to make monetary donations to The Barracks Project, a volunteer mission to serve and give back to current service members and honorably-discharged veterans.
Over the course of the weekend, Mike's customers supported the fundraising event with $8,724 in contributions to The Barrack's Project.

To commemorate Veterans Day, Mike's Carwash offered Active and Retired military personnel a FREE Ultimate Wash on Veterans Day, November 11 and November 12.
Over the course of two days, our teams washed 3,844 Veterans' vehicles, translating to $76,880 in FREE Washes!
"A free Ultimate Wash was just a small way for everyone at Mike's to thank those who have served, and continue to serve, our country with distinction," said Joe Dahm, President of Mike's Carwash. "The free wash continued Mike's commitment to honor active and retired military, all of whom are heroes in our eyes."

Mike's Carwash Raises More than $72,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

Mike's Carwash, through its season-long, Ultimate Double Header, raised $72,447 for the Reds Community Fund during the 2022 season. Since launching its partnership with the Reds and the Community Fund, Mike's has raised nearly $400,000 to support youth baseball and girls' softball.

Over the course of the weekend, Mike's customers supported the fundraising event with $12,574 in contributions to Crusade for Children.

Thanks to generous contributions of goods and services, the Crusade returns 100% of all donations to organizations that serve children with special needs in Kentucky and southern Indiana. Fire departments raise nearly 60% of the donations each year by staging roadblocks and hosting other fundraising events.
Millions of children have been helped by the Crusade since 1954. The WHAS Crusade for Children, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Gifts are tax-deductible as permitted by law.

Mike's Carwash raised $36,214 for the Ft. Wayne YMCA Youth Service Bureau through its Wash for a Cause promotional event the weekend of July 15-18. Throughout the weekend, Mike's Carwash donated half of the proceeds from each Ultimate Wash sold to the Youth Service Bureau.

On Saturday, May 7th, Mike's Carwash raised more than $80,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters through its 13th annual "Get a Wash, Give a Future" fundraiser. Most Mike's locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky donated half the proceeds from every Ultimate and Works wash sold to youth mentoring programs across six local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our Louisville locations will host on July 9th.

On Thursday, April 21, Mike's Carwash held a groundbreaking at what will be the 5th Louisville location at 9710 Westport Road. The site was previously home to a Bow Tie Express Carwash. Mike's Carwash Names Joe Dahm as President

Cincinnati-based Mike's Carwash announces the appointment of Joe Dahm as President. Mike Dahm will remain in his current position as CEO of the 74-year-old company that maintains 34 carwash facilities across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
As the grandson of the founder of Mike's Carwash, with whom he shares the same first name, Joe Dahm grew up in the carwash business, working nights, weekends, and summers as a carwash team member. After graduating from St. Xavier High School, Joe continued to work at Mike's as he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communication from Miami University. He went on to earn an MBA in Finance from Xavier. After working at Cintas Corporation, Joe joined Mike's in 2016. He managed several Mike's carwash locations in Cincinnati, before moving to the company's Support Center in Loveland. Prior to being named to his most recent position as Director of Strategy, Joe was the company's Financial Analyst.
"This is an important and timely announcement on many levels," said CEO Mike Dahm. "First, it positions Mike's for both accelerated, and profitable growth moving forward. Continuing as CEO, I will focus my energy on the company's aggressive expansion plans. Joe will focus on the day-to-day operations of our considerable footprint, working closely with what I believe to be the best leadership team in the carwash business. Secondly, as a 74-year-old family owned and operated business, it was important to me to have a succession plan that ensures we remain family owned for generations to come."

As the grandson of the founder of Mike's Carwash, with whom he shares the same first name, Joe Dahm grew up in the carwash business, working nights, weekends, and summers as a carwash team member. After graduating from St. Xavier High School, Joe continued to work at Mike's as he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communication from Miami University. He went on to earn an MBA in Finance from Xavier. After working at Cintas Corporation, Joe joined Mike's in 2016. He managed several Mike's carwash locations in Cincinnati, before moving to the company's Support Center in Loveland. Prior to being named to his most recent position as Director of Strategy, Joe was the company's Financial Analyst.

The sixth Kentucky location for Mike's will be built on the site of the former Shoe Palace building just south of Kenton Lands Road. Company leaders joined City of Erlanger officials Tuesday for an official groundbreaking on the new location.

The popular promotions give customers a $5 discount on Mike's best wash, the Ultimate Wash, the day following any game in which the Bengals record at least two quarterback sacks and every Wednesday during the season. For every Ultimate Wash sold on those days, Mike's donates $1 to the Anthony Muñoz Foundation supporting local youth.
